Flowing Wells Educational Foundation
Kevin Daily is President of the Flowing Wells Unified School District Governing Board, where he has served for 26 years across six elected terms. A 1983 graduate of Flowing Wells High School, he and his wife Marie raised three children who also graduated from the district. In 1995 the two of them founded the Flowing Wells Neighborhood Association and Community Coalition, and Kevin has led the neighborhood revitalization effort that has brought more than $30 million in competitive grant funding into the community, including a library, a community center, a district park, sidewalks, street lighting, and pedestrian safety improvements. Flowing Wells was named an All-America City in 2007. He was named All-Arizona School Board Member in 2019. Professionally, Kevin is an engineering manager at CNH Industrial, leading a global hardware and embedded software team, and he has spent thirty years in defense, aerospace, and industrial technology. He holds a BS in Computer Science Engineering from Northern Arizona University, an MBA from the University of Arizona, and a U.S. patent. He and Marie co-authored Images of America: Flowing Wells, published by Arcadia, with all proceeds donated to the community.
Marie Daily taught kindergarten in the Flowing Wells School District and later stepped away from the classroom to raise the couple's three children, Eric, Katie, and Alex, all of whom went on to graduate from Flowing Wells. A certified teacher, she holds a bachelor's degree in journalism, a bachelor's degree in education, and a master's degree in early childhood education. In 1995 she and her husband Kevin founded the Flowing Wells Neighborhood Association and Community Coalition. She has served on the board of the Flowing Wells Educational Foundation for 20 years, currently as Vice President, and organized the district's Grad Night celebration for over 15 years. She co-authored Images of America: Flowing Wells, the photographic history of the community published by Arcadia Publishing, with all proceeds donated back to the neighborhood. Today Marie is back in a Flowing Wells classroom as a volunteer, running the Ready Bodies, Learning Minds motor lab at Douglas Elementary, a program that develops the physical and sensory foundations young children need before they can sit still, hold a pencil, pay attention, and learn to read.
